The ultimate pregame, postgame, or gametime game.

Ale You Need to Know

Curious about the game? This drunken tale-all will introduce you to our gameplay mechanics and what the game is about.

Game Features

  • Characters

To start the game, each player will select one of fourteen horror movie archetypes to play as—such as Nerdy Ned, Beefy Brad, Final Fiona, or Skanky Stacy. Each of these has their own ability to help you win the game, get your friends drunk, or both.

  • Drink Cards

A deck of cards that’s used through the game, each of these bad boys includes nods to over 85% of the horror movies that we’ve personally seen! Red cards get you drunk, blue cards are shared with the entire group, and green cards allow you give a player of your choosing a drink… or several.

  • Area Cards

These cards will invite you to perform with, share with, and befriend the other players as you compete to become the sole horror movie survivor. You’ll face unique drinking challenges all themed around various horror movie tropes—and all designed to get every player grinning from ear to ear.

  • Settings

The board is split into four different horror movie settings—the summer camp, the graveyard, the cabin in the woods, and the haunted house. These board spaces invite the whole group to drink with unique challenges. Each setting ties into a unique area card deck that offers thematic challenges based on the tropes associated with its genre.

  • Boss Spaces

As you and your friends compete to survive each movie, you’ll go head-to-head with the villains of each domain. For example, the Summertime Slasher won’t let you pass his domain until you roll a three. If you roll anything other than a three, you take a drink and immediately try again. You have to keep rolling until you get a three to move on. You may get lucky... or you may get drunk.

  • Party in a Box

Be ready for every type of evening adventure. Pregame with your buddies, bust it out during a party, or unwind after a long day with a series of nightcaps. There are so many ways to play!

This game is for ages 21+. Please drink responsibly.

How to Play!

(Taught By the Professionals)

Pick your character.

Everybody picks their character card from a selection of fourteen. The last person to pick is the first to move.

Get Going.

Roll the dice to move forward and determine your drunken fate.

Drink Up.

Draw one card from the deck that corresponds to the space you’ve landed on. Read the card aloud and follow the instructions, no matter how deadly to your liver or damaging to your dignity.

Pass the Torch.

After you gracefully follow the instructions on the card, your turn ends. (But the drinking doesn’t.) When your turn is over, the person to your immediate left takes their turn.

Defeat Ancient Evil

Each player must stop on every boss, even if they rolled to move further. There are four bosses to challenge, each with their own unique abilities. The player may not move forward again until the boss is defeated.

Become the Sole Survivor!

The first player to reach the end of the board alive and defeat the final boss wins the game! You may also gain the respect of your family, friends, and colleagues.
